We welcome Champion Contractors on board as our latest Accredited Member for providing accountancy and umbrella services to contractors and freelancers. To become an Accredited Member, applicants must undergo an independent and rigorous assessment of their business services, operations, policies and processes, all of which are independently examined to ensure adherence to FCSA compliance standards.
Becoming FCSA Accredited demonstrates to freelancers, contractors and recruiters that members are acting both professionally and ethically within the UK tax, employment and regulatory laws. Coupled with financial stability tests, FCSA Accreditation is proof that professional businesses can take the lead in delivering the highest levels of industry standards.
Champion Contractors is part of the wider Champion accountancy group, founded in 1971. The Contractors division is led by Director, Jim McMeekin. Jim and his staff are committed to compliance and are steeped in the financial and business issues faced by freelancers, contractors and the whole supply chain.
On becoming FCSA accredited, McMeekin said: “We are delighted to learn that we are now FCSA Accredited. Being endorsed by FCSA provides our clients and stakeholders with the necessary assurances to trust in the Champion brand and know that we will provide them with a quality compliant service that is second to none. FCSA defines excellence and we look forward to working with Julia and other FCSA members to drive up standards in our industry.”
FCSA’s chief executive, Julia Kermode added: “It is no mean feat to pass FCSA’s rigorous assessment so I would like to congratulate Champion Contractors on their achievement and welcome them on board as our latest Accredited Member. I know that Jim and his team are passionate about our sector and I am looking forward to working with Champion as we work together to make a real difference for the better.”
