Transport for London’s experience of public sector IR35 reforms – Clive Mills, Non-Permanent Labour Manager, TfL
Clive was at the forefront of implementing the recent IR35 reforms at Transport for London (TfL); with less than 4 months notice he had to move swiftly to communicate the changes to their workforce of over 1,600 PSCs. In this session he shares his experience and what lessons can be learned as we prepare for similar changes in the private sector.
Investment trends in the sector – Rob Crossland, Partner, DWDG LLP
Rob is an entrepreneur and investor in a range of growth businesses, and is well-known as the founder of Parasol and ClearSky. In this session, Rob will outline his experience of investment, issues that he has advised on, key general indicators to gaining investment, trends and exit routes.
Recruitment sector trends and the outlook for 2019 – Neil Carberry, Chief Executive, REC
Neil began his career in recruitment, and prior to joining REC earlier this year, he was a managing director at the CBI, leading its work on the labour market, skills, energy and infrastructure. He is certainly an expert on the recruitment sector, and we look forward to hearing his thoughts on what 2019 will bring.
We are delighted to have such an exciting line up of expert speakers, and there will be plenty of time for Q&A and discussion after each presentation.
