FCSA welcomes Cashplus as new business partner

The Freelancer and Contractor Services Association (FCSA), the UK’s largest trade association for professional employment services, has agreed a partnership with APS financial, a leading digital challenger to banks, providing business current accounts, through its Cashplus product for freelancers and micro businesses.

Since 2004, Cashplus has provided alternative banking solutions to over 70,000 micro-businesses in the UK, challenging the established high street banks. Through its Cashplus product, APS prides itself on a better understanding of the needs of freelancers and flexible workers and their banking requirements as well as the recruiters and accountancy firms that support them.

Commenting on the new partnership, APS financial’s CEO Rich Wagner said: “APS  is delighted to be teaming up with FCSA as an official business partner. We both share a passion to promote and support the interests of freelancers and those that provide invaluable services to the UK’s flexible workforce and I am delighted that FCSA recognises the benefits and expertise that Cashplus will bring to members and the workers they support.”

FCSA, which represents professional employment services such as umbrella employers and accountancy service providers, was set up in 2008 to set the benchmark for those working in the industry. It works tirelessly to protect contractors and freelancers and drive up standards in a historically unregulated industry.

Julia Kermode, FCSA’s chief executive added: “We are pleased to welcome APS financial on board as a partner. APS is a company that is rooted in helping accountancy and recruitment firms to solve problems for the flexible workforce.  It clearly understands the needs of the small business sector and I know that our members and the contractors they work with can be assured of a first class banking solution and service tailored specifically to help them.”
