About Us

Aims and Objectives

FCSA was set up with four very clear aims:

To drive best practice in the sector and set the standard for professional compliance.
To reassure agencies and those engaging the services of freelancers that they are dealing with the most compliant service providers in the business, which means risk is minimised.
To promote recognition of the value that the professional freelance workforce adds to the UK economy and ensure a fair business environment.
To become a recognised and trusted voice for the service providers sector and provide a platform for likeminded professionals to share ideas and discuss opportunities.

Going forward, our current objectives are to encourage more service providers to implement our code of conduct and help raise standards throughout the industry, to raise the profile of the association further and to use our position to share an understanding of the industry with the Government and regulators.

As and when new legislation is proposed, we’ll make sure we’re involved from the outset to stand up for the rights of member companies and their clients.
